About 10 years ago I was feeling unwell but couldn't really put my finger on why. Of course the Doctors were no help, just fobbing me off with this lozenge or that pill. Then someone at work suggested that I go to see a Homeopath. Suffice to say, I gradually regained my health. One day whilst she was looking up her Materia Medica, she gave me a leaflet to read which was advertising a course in Yorkshire. I put it in my bag and forgot about it until one day at work when I was bored and in need of finding something to focus on. So I made an appointment for an interview, and, to my delight, was accepted. The course was four years part-time, ie one weekend a month for ten months of the year in Burley in Wharfedale. I was working full time at a Bank then, so I found it hard going but I succeeded and I am now licensed.
My Grandfather used to treat the Family with Homeopathy when my Mother was small, and she clearly remembers being given Nux and Puls. He had books and a kit in a wooden box, which sadly is no longer with us. I have got his old Tyler's Homeopathic Drug Pictures............. So I think it must be in the blood!
It is a wonderful therapy - I, and many, think the best - and I am sure that you will find it both fascinating and beneficial.
